Community tour for Holstebro and Copenhagen
From October 5 to 12, 2025, 22 friends from Holstebro and 16 from Copenhagen, mostly seniors, went on an unforgettable trip to Finca Alamo.
The trip had been planned a whole year in advance by the friends from Holstebro, but none of us could have imagined how blessed and wonderful the week would be!
It felt like stepping into a little slice of heaven – filled with fellowship, fun and laughter. Conversations went back and forth, old friendships were rekindled, memories were recalled, and even the world situation was discussed in merry company.
The weather was perfect, with a pleasant 23-26 degrees and a fresh breeze. The pool was used extensively, and food was cooked and barbecues were held in perfect harmony.
Many took excursions to the beach, local restaurants and other attractions. There was shopping, eating, and many treated themselves to a relaxing massage on the beach.
Thanks to Lise Østermark’s initiative, we had joint morning and evening singing with classic, beloved Danish songs.
One evening, a spontaneous singing community arose with the congregation’s songs, which for some had a particularly empowering effect. We noticed a strong building spirit present, and many testified to how much the community and the trip had given them.
All of this was possible because we are a group of friends who have stood together through life’s trials and joys – like gold on fire.
Everyone contributed to the day’s chores to the best of their ability, and the place immediately felt like home – our own little paradise.

Finca Álamo is located just an hour’s drive from the airport and has been completely renovated. There are beautiful rooms with private bathrooms and toilets, good beds and air conditioning, as well as pleasant indoor and outdoor areas.
Kitchen facilities are convenient and the beach and Estepona with its shops, restaurants and sights are only 10-15 minutes away.
It’s a place that’s perfect for large family holidays, multi-family holidays, youth trips and, not least, for anyone who wants community, fun and memories for life.
