Casares Beaches

PLAYA ANCHA

Access to the beach and Chiringuito Sal is from the roundabout where Casares road goes inland. There is a small but ample parking lot even in summer. The road in the Perla de la Bahia urbanization on the seafront of this headland also leads to Torre de la Sal, another Chiringuito and Finca Cortesin, the nearby five-star luxury hotel and spa, has a private beach club here.

PLAYA de la sal (Playa Chica)

This is the name of the smaller beach in the small cove west of the old watchtower. Access to Playa de la Sal is either by walking around the rocks from Playa Ancha at low tide or by walking down the promenade that connects the watchtower and the parking lot. .

Playa Piedra Paloma

Between Torre del Sal and a large rock in the sea called Islote de las Palomas (Dene’s little island) or simply Piedra Paloma (dove rock) lies Playa Piedra Paloma. The rock marks the municipal boundary with Estepona and the continuation of the beach in Estepona is called Playa Galera.

Access to Playa Piedra Paloma is via Urbanizacion Casares del Mar.
