Pleasant pictures and impressions from community and work in week 42 at Finca Alamo

We were 11 women and men from Sandefjord, 5 from Hamar, 3 from Grenland, 3 from Denmark and 4 from Germany.

A nice mix of congregations and cultures where the tone was set from the first moment.

It’s actually special to experience how well everything works with this oil that David describes so well in Psalm 133:

See how good and beautiful it is when brothers live together! It’s like the fine oil on your head when it runs down your beard, Aaron’s beard, down over the waistband of your robe.

There was no shortage of challenges: Torrential rain prevented exterior painting, all the parquet was heavily water-damaged but saved, the car and lift got stuck in the mud, pre-painted rooms became dusty when it was decided that the porch door should be a double door and larger holes had to be punched in thick brick walls, etc, etc.

Plenty of incidents, but with this fine oil running down and lubricating everything, everything is solved together and with the flexibility of wisdom. Wonderful to experience.

In the midst of it all, there was time for excursions and many fine meals and conversations across locations.

A guided tour to Finca Alamo is highly recommended.
