Easter 2025
9 couples from the Netherlands gathered at Finca Alamo to socialize and broadcast from Brunstad. We have received some thoughts about the experience from those who were there.
Good food, great weather, beautiful location, good friends, humor and brotherhood; these were the ingredients for a great week in Spain, at Finca Alamo de Casares.
This time we didn’t experience Easter 2025 at Brunstad, at home or elsewhere, but 9 couples used the beautiful location for people over 60 in Spain.
In addition to the fantastic conference we experienced and the edification of Kåre Smith and the other brothers, we had many good conversations with each other, went for walks, bathed, rested, read or did some needlework, visited cities in the area, walked along the Mediterranean, ate fish and ice cream, listened to each other and had a good time together.
Cathy, the manager, had her mother visiting and they were often part of our activities, much to the delight and edification of both ladies.
The week passed all too quickly, and we said goodbye to each other in the hope of seeing each other again at Brunstad or elsewhere.
What a great time Frans and I had at Finca Alamo in Spain!
Together with other couples from the Netherlands, we followed the Easter conference in Spain on the big screen. Two chefs were invited who prepared really delicious meals that we enjoyed to the fullest. In the morning, I often started with a dip in the pool and looked out at the high mountains of Andalusia. In the distance, eagles could be seen soaring beautifully along the slopes. Next to me, the orange blossoms were fragrant.
After the broadcasts, we visited some very beautiful places in the area, such as Casares, Ronda, Estepona and Setenil de las Bodegas. Cathy Morales, the manager of the place, gave us great advice about the area, customs and habits in Spain. We could ask her anything. We also took great walks in the Finca area.
We took Corina Morales from Peru into our hearts. She was visiting her daughter Cathy and attended the Easter conference with us. It’s so special to meet and get to know friends from all over the world with the same goal and desire.
What struck me most was how relaxed and comfortable we were together. Everyone had the freedom to do what suited them best, and in the end it resulted in relaxation and brotherhood. Thank you to all our friends who made this week such an amazing experience!

A fantastic week at Finca Alamo de Casares, in a spirit of love, care and gratitude, where everyone contributed in great freedom and each in their own way.
We enjoyed the pool in the morning, the delicious food and the beautiful surroundings!
How happy we have become with each other and with the church, where we can increasingly take the place God has prepared for us in this phase of life!
