Paraje Natural Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja<\/strong> is a nature reserve. It is part of the Sierra Bermeja<\/strong> mountain range, which is known for its unique geology, rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes. <\/p>\n

Sierra Bermeja is the reddish mountain range located just north\/north-east of Finca Alamo<\/em><\/p>\n

  1. Geology<\/strong>: The area is known for its peridotite formations, which give the mountains a reddish color (“bermeja” means “reddish” in Spanish). These rocks are rare and create special soil conditions that affect the local plant and animal life. <\/li>\n
  2. Flora<\/strong>: The reserve is home to many plant varieties, including the endemic pinsapo fir<\/strong> (Abies pinsapo), a relic of the Ice Age. This tree is a symbol of the region and is found in small pockets throughout the park. <\/li>\n
  3. Fauna<\/strong>: The varied ecosystem is home to a wealth of wildlife, including mountain goats, birds of prey such as eagles and vultures, as well as other Mediterranean species.<\/li>\n
