If the lot is full, you can use the parking lot at the entrance to Casares (before the school at the top). <\/p>\n<div>The trail is designed so that you walk down the path on the other side of the viewpoint. The hike can be done in the opposite direction. Alternatively, you can return the same way you went up.   <\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Head up to the Observatorio de aves de Casares &#8211; Casares Bird Observatory for great views and birdwatching.<\/li>\n<li>Nice and quiet place with benches and fantastic views both towards Casares and Gibraltar.<\/li>\n<li>The trip is relatively easy and should be suitable for most people.<\/li>\n<li>This is primarily a hike, but the tour can also be taken by bike. In that case, you will need to park your bike before the final stretch up to the viewpoint itself. If you follow the route and take the path down on the other side of the viewpoint, you should expect to rent the bike down.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Route point 1 Parking and start<\/h3>\n<p>Parking is available here close to the start.<\/p>\n<h3>Route point 2 Intersection 1<\/h3>\n<p>Turn left here (right if you go the opposite way)<\/p>\n<div>\n<h3>Route point 3 Intersection 2<\/h3>\n<p>To get up to the viewpoint itself, you need to turn right here. You will return here on your way back. <\/p>\n<p>On the way down from the top, you can choose to return to the car the same way you came up, but we recommend a walk around the entire trail.
